The Audio Nirvana 300B SET uses an enormously powerful toroidal power supply, protected in a real potted case (not a dummy one, as many companies use). Single Ended, Class A amplifiers are usually very expensive. And they still have small transformers and are not well designed. A great Single Ended design requires special transformers and the experience to make them properly. Unlike almost every other amplifier company out there, we wind our own transformers to exacting specifications. We have used our experience with Single Ended to develop the best circuit, and we use one of the most popular power tubes of all time--the EL34.
